Recently our company had to buy new laptops for our developers. Once the specifications of those machines were finalized, the next question was what should we chose for operating system. It was decided earlier that we will go for Windows 7 but would it be Enterprise or Ultimate?

After surfing the internet, reading different articles, reviews and etc. I got more confused as most of the stuff which is available is either not very detailed or it so complicated that u couldn’t get anything from it.

Here is the simplest yet decisive analysis so you can make up your mind without getting caught-up in irrelevant and incomplete stuff.

As far as features are concerned, there is no difference between Enterprise and Ultimate edition of Windows 7.
