I had seen this error on Window server 2003 in the log event when I have opened event log and found frequently error occurring

Description: Generate Activation Context failed for C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.MFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.163_x-ww_39049D00\MFC80U.DLL. Reference error message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

I got the solution from internet and resolved this issue. So, I have decided to share with you, just you have to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86).

· Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

· Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
