In this Tutorial, i will tell you how to install Window Server 2008 Core. In Window Server 2008 Core this is no GuI mode and Desktop Explorer. So the advantage of Window Server 2008 Core is fast, minimum space, Fast Boot and less change of attached and big advantage is security imporvement. There is no option to upgrade any previous operating system top Window server 2008 Core. And there is also no support to upgrade from Window server 2008 Core to Window server 2008. Now let start step by step to install Window server 2008 Core.
First insert bootable DVD into your installation Media. Now Restart your System.
A promt will come to select the correct Language,Press Next to continue as shown in below Figure.
Click on install now Button as you see in below Figure.
Enter your Prduct key Else you want to activate after installation or trail version press next to continue.
If you dont have Product key, then you will Click on No button as shown in below figure.
Select Window Server 2008 Enterprise (Server Core Installation ) option and Click Next button to continue as shown in below figure.
Click on check box option if you read and accept the Linense terms.
we are fresh copy of window in core Custom (Advanced) option is, Click on it as shown in below Figure.
Next option, where do you want to install Windows server 2008 Core , Select your Drive to continue and Press Next button to continue.Now installation will be begin and will take few mintues to complete the process as shown in Below Figure.
After 100% Completed System Will be reboot.Afer Reboot a Screen will be display,Press Clrt + ALT +Delete to log on.
Click on Other users as shown in below figure.
By Default, there is blank password is set for administrator, Enter the password of administrator and confirm password as shown below.
changing password will take one mintue to continue.
Password has been changed.Press Ok to continue.
First time user entering , so it is creating profile.
Please wait for System Event Notification Services
After all step when you are login the dos prompt will be display , that is your account. Now you have successfully install Window Server 2008 Enterprise Core. Enjoy it.
